The side panels seem to be well coated for outdoor use to last longer, and the tile top is easy to clean and maintain as well. Assembly time was approximately 50 minutes, with unpacking, and studying the manual included. Lay the tile top upside down, assemble the side/leg panels with the supplied bolts, turn the product right side up, place in the ash pan, grate, fire poker if you desire, and mesh top. And I used a 1/2” socket rather than the supplied wrench. The easy to understand manual helps a lot. Have an open area to lay out all the pieces, and it assembles very simply. I will say that when you first open the box, it’s a little overwhelming to see the box packed to the rim. Nothing is more relaxing than adding a little fire to the soul, rather just to watch the flames, feel the warmth, or even roast a marshmallow, it’s all comforting. If you enjoy sitting outdoors and relaxing, then I recommend that you invest in one of these little fire pits from Hampton Bay.
